Character Education in the Classroom

Character building is an important aspect of a student's personal and academic development. It grows the virtues and values that guide them throughout their lives: honesty, integrity, responsibility, respect and self-discipline. One way to build it is through character education programs in the classroom, from lessons on specific virtues to role-playing and group discussions, which give students the chance to practise making ethical decisions in different situations.

Student Group Discussion

Student group discussion is a method of teaching and learning in which students work together in small groups to discuss a topic or solve a problem. The goal is to promote active learning, critical thinking and collaboration among students.

Face to Face (1 on 1)

The face-to-face program gives students the chance to meet their teachers one-on-one to discuss any problems or concerns. This direct communication helps build trust and understanding between student and teacher.

Social Activity

Social activities give students opportunities to come together, have fun and relieve the stress of studying. They range from sports, games, arts and crafts to cultural and community events.

Pribadi Educational Trip (PET)

The main goal of an educational trip is to complement classroom learning with a hands-on, interactive and engaging experience. These trips also develop critical thinking, problem-solving and cultural awareness.

Parents Home Visit

A teacher's visit to a student's home builds a stronger relationship between the teacher and the family. It lets the teacher meet the parents and learn more about the student's home life and the setting they learn in.
