Praise be to the prophet Muhammad SAW 27 Rajab 1446 H

Isra Miraj is a momentous event in Islamic history that commemorates the extraordinary night journey of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In a single night, he traveled from Masjid al-Haram in Mecca to Masjid al-Aqsa before ascending to the seventh heaven (Miraj), where he received the divine command for Muslims to perform five daily prayers. This miraculous event is a powerful reminder of the importance of faith, devotion, and prayer in a Muslim’s life.

To honor and reflect on this sacred journey, SD Pribadi held the Isra Miraj 1446 H Commemoration on Thursday, January 30, 2025. The event was designed to educate and inspire students while strengthening their love and appreciation for Islamic teachings.

The commemoration featured a series of activities aimed at making the occasion both meaningful and enjoyable. The event began with a Quran recitation accompanied by its translation, allowing students to reflect on the words of Allah SWT. Following this, a beautiful poem dedicated to Rasulullah SAW was performed, highlighting his virtues and the lessons from his life. Students also enjoyed a nasyid performance, where they sang spiritual songs that emphasized the significance of prayer and faith.

One of the highlights of the event was the presence of Kak Palupi, a talented storyteller known for her engaging approach in delivering Islamic teachings. She captivated the students with a fun and interactive storytelling session, using a guitar and hand puppets to narrate the story of Isra Miraj. Her unique style of storytelling, combined with melodic tunes and creative expressions, made the students enthusiastic and deeply engaged throughout the session.

The students at SD Pribadi were visibly delighted, laughing and singing along while absorbing the profound lessons behind Isra Miraj. Through this engaging and joyful experience, they were able to grasp the importance of prayer and the blessings of this miraculous journey in a way that was easy to understand.

By making religious education interactive and enjoyable, SD Pribadi hopes that students will develop a deeper appreciation of their faith and carry the lessons of Isra Miraj with them throughout their lives.
